What is the festival’s policy regarding accessibility for individuals with disabilities? Are there accessible parking, viewing areas, and restroom facilities?
There is accessible parking and restroom facilities indicated on the Festival Map. The Oak Grove and Camping area are all gravel, grass, or dirt surfaces with many flat areas.
How can I purchase tickets?
Is there a separate fee for camping?
No, camping is included in any festival pass for the night or nights purchased.
Can I leave the festival and re-enter later?
Vehicles cannot leave and re-enter. This also includes friends and family who come onto the site in the Vehicle with the attendee who purchases the Vehicle pass. Remember, each person in the vehicle must have their own Festival Pass.
There are no refunds.
Payment plans available?
There are no payment plans.
Can I transfer my ticket if I’m unable to attend?
It is not possible to transfer a ticket from one account to another. Instead, you can edit your order information to put your ticket under someone else’s name and email address (if you see the option). This does not remove the ticket from your Eventbrite account, but the new attendee will receive an email prompting them to claim tickets when you save the change.
What comes with a Hi-Viber upgrade?
This VIP pass Includes a hospitality tent next to the stage, has F&B included – 3 meals and 2 drink vouchers per day. These will be given upon arrival so don’t lose them! Also a luxury restroom and a hot shower private to VIP only. Everyone in your party must be VIP to enter VIP section.
Are there any different ticket options available?
There are multiple ticket options: Weekend Festival Pass, Saturday Entry Campout Pass, Sunday Entry Campout Pass. Upgrades: Weekend Hi-Viber Pass, Saturday Hi-Viber Pass, Sunday Hi-Viber Pass.
Are there any identification or age verification requirements when entering the festival?
No. This festival is for all ages! Make sure to bring identification as it will be checked with your ticket for 21+ wristbands. There will be security constantly patrolling.
Can I bring my own camping gear?
Yes, you must bring your own camping gear. Please do not bring tents bigger than 10ft x 10ft. Remember, if you do not purchase a weekend Vehicle/RV pass you must be able to carry everything onto the shuttle and to the general camping areas!
Are there any nearby hotels or accommodations for non-campers?
There are very few motels in Fallbrook, with more options in Temecula and Oceanside.
Are there any showers?
There will be cold general admission showers and a hot water VIP shower trailer.
What are the facilities and amenities provided for campers?
Showers, toilets, and rubbish bins are provided, see the Festival Map for locations.
What size vehicle can I park in the Vehicle Camping Sites?
Please do not bring any vehicle over 25 feet long.
Are there any size restrictions or guidelines for camping tents?
For fire and space concerns, please limit tents to 10ft by 10ft. Large tents or camping structures will be dismantled and stored until after the event.
How is my camping spot determined?
Our spots are on a first come basis! You can camp farther or closer from the stage depending on the experience you want. Keep in mind RV pad spaces are only East Prairie Area.
How do I know which designated camping area is best for me?
The West Prairie, East Prairie, Red Tail, and Boulder areas circle the main general seating and Oak Grove Stage. Performances will last until 11pm so keep this in mind when choosing location. The Mesa Area and Peaceful Valley are farther from the stage and more secluded. RV’s must park at East Prarie!
What types of music genres will be featured at the festival?
The vibe for the vent is mellow, relaxed, happy and in-touch with nature, with a sweet splice of folk, surf, and reggae. At night, we transition into dance, electronic, and
a diverse mix of electronic music, spanning mid-tempo, downtempo, chill-trap, and ambient styles.
Will there be any famous artists or bands performing?
Equanimous, Sol Rising, Ruby Chase, Shanin Blake, KR3TURE, ZB Savoy, One Drop Redemption – Featuring Josh Barett, Saint Luna, The Happy Return, The Grinns, Honeyboys, and more!
Are there any nearby attractions or activities outside of the festival?
Main Street Fallbrook has many adorable shops, cafes, and restaurants plus a Farmers Market on Saturday morning. The Santa Margarita River has shady hiking trails and a few swimming holes the locals enjoy.
Food and Beverage
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Of course! Although, there will be a variety or food trucks to enjoy throughout the weekend.
Reduce single-use plastics & alloys at Splitrock Farm: No plastic/cans/cups/utensils allowed. Use provided reusable steel bottles & pint glasses. Confiscated items will be donated to Fallbrook Food Pantry. Help keep the land & ocean beautiful!
Will there be food and drink vendors at the festival?
Yes! There will be a wide variety of food and beverage vendors throughout the weekend.
Are there vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free food options available?
Yes, there will be a food truck with these food options!
When and where will the festival take place?
October 21st and 22nd, 2023 at Splitrock Farm and Retreat in Fallbrook, CA.
What will the weather be like at the festival? How hot will it be during the day and how cold will it be at night?
1,500 ft elevation and constant ocean breezes produce a microclimate in De Luz Heights, coupled with the ancient oak canopy, the temperatures at Splitrock Festival will range from mid-70s in the shade to mid-80s in the sun. It is consistently 10-20 degrees cooler than Fallbrook, and 20-30 degrees cooler than Temecula.
Can I bring my own musical instruments?
Of course! Anything you can fit on your lap on the shuttle or in your vehicle with the pass. (Be respectful of Quiet hours at 11pm).
What happens if it rains? Is there a rain or cancellation policy?
Chance of rain is very low at that time of year, and the show will go on rain or shine.
How do I sign up for yoga at the festival?
Yoga will take place in The Oak Grove with plenty of space for anyone who wants to take part for free.
Is there an extra cost for activities?
No, activities are included in your festival pass weekend. Tipping your instructor is appreciated.
Are there bathrooms?
Yes! There will be portable bathrooms throughout the venue and luxury bathrooms in the Hi-viber VIP section.
Are there any additional activities or attractions at the festival?
Yes! There are a wide variety of activities such as morning nature walks, yoga, meditation, drum circle, sound healing, comedy acts, hiking, guitar circles, breathwork, guitar circles, handpan Circles, body work, informative speakers, classes, and shopping local vendors! Stay tuned for announcements on speakers, classes, and activity leaders, and vendors
Are children allowed?
Is there electricity?
No outside propane or gas generators are allowed. You may bring a small, under 1000W battery generator
When do performances start?
Performances are 2pm-11pm October 21st and 22nd.
Will there be merchandise or souvenir stands at the festival? What kind of festival-branded items?
There will be merchandise for sale ranging from T-shirts to mugs. There will also be other stands to shop from including merch from your favorite performers!
Is there an ATM on-site or are cashless payment options available at the festival?
There will be no ATM on-site, but there are cashless payment methods available.
Parking and Transport
Is there parking available at the festival site?
Yes, there are Weekend and Day Vehicle passes for sale which include one parking space. There is no parking in the general area outside of Splitrock Farm and Retreat as all the land is privately owned. Harris Trail is not wide enough for parking and vehicles parked outside Splitrock will be towed.
Are there any shuttle services to and from the festival?
There are no shuttles available to/from Splitrock Festival. Please plan on carpooling and parking on-site.
What is the entry/exit rule?
Vehicles Pass can travel to Splitrock on Friday starting 2pm-8:30pm until Saturday 7am-10am. Once parked, the vehicle or RV must stay onsite unless you decide to permanently leave.
What sized vehicles are allowed?
25 ft length maximum due to terrain and road conditions.
Safety and Security
Are there any age restrictions for attending the festival?
What is the festival’s policy on prohibited items?
No: guns, knives, weapons of any sort. No single-use plastics or alloys. No Alcohol. No fires, fireworks, sparklers, or anything that ignites or is flammable.
What are the festival’s safety and security measures?
Bag checks, wristband checkers walking around all day, breathalyzers on shuttle bus back to town, and security.
Will there be bag checks or metal detectors at the entrance?
Bag checks to prevent any prohibited items.
Are there any medical facilities or first aid stations on-site?
Yes! The medical facilities and first aid stations are located near the vendors, camp shop, and Red Tail general camping. There will be a map and flags to help you find these stations!
Are there any water stations or refillable water bottle stations at the festival?
Yes! Check the map or look for signs, exclusively refill – no single use plastic or ally bottles or cans.
Is there a designated smoking area at the festival? Are there any restrictions on smoking or vaping?
No, vaping or smoking within or nearby the Market Vendors area, Hi-Viber area, and any other tents or structures. Anyone seen littering cigarette butts will be asked to leave the festival and not return. Please respect this land.
Are there any restrictions on photography or videography during the festival? Can attendees bring professional cameras for drones?
No drones and no professional photographers.
Is there a lost and found area at the festival?
Yes! The lost and found is located near the vendors, camp shop, and first aid point. There will be an information point at this location with a lost and found. Check the map or look for signs to help you locate!
Are pets allowed at the festival?
No, due to the noise, close camping, and on-site animals, there are no pets allowed.
Can I build my own fire?
No fires of any kind.
What are you doing to ensure my safety at the festival?
There will be security and medics on site.
